5 Supreme Court Justices Clearly don't understand what the First Amendment was meant to protect...

At a time when we are in a recession primarily caused by the greedy irresponsiblity of our banks and market system, the Supreme Court has made a grave error in overturning the ban on corporate spending in political campaigns. Somehow they have decided that corporations equal citizens. Therefore, the decision makers in these corporations are now being afforded two voices...an individual one as a citizen of this country and as the corporation. How the Supreme Court finds this constitutional is a mystery? The Court's reasoning that money equals free speech is abhorrent to me. Bravo to Stevens, Sotomayor, Ginsberg and Breyer for dissenting...sadly it's not enough. This decision right here just emphasizes how urgent it is to understand the importance of the Supreme Court when making decisions on Presidential elections.
